I am a former Christian who had no guidance in critically examining my beliefs. Left to accept what I was taught without question, I once believed in literal interpretations of stories like Adam and Eve and a global flood—ideas that never fully made sense to me. Yet, I was told that faith meant accepting them without doubt.
When I finally began thinking for myself and rejecting these claims, I had no one to turn to. I felt isolated.
I don’t want anyone else to feel that way. No one should have to navigate the journey of questioning religion or embracing irreligion alone. If my efforts can help even one person feel less alone in their doubts, then they are more than worth it.
To me, being godless means recognizing that religion is part of our past—something we need not cling to or feel ashamed of moving beyond.
I hope you'll join me in standing up and using your voice.
